A Place To Grow is a community garden site in Enderby run by Blaby District Council for the benefit of local residents, includes volunteering opportunities and therapeutic gardening sessions for those with a wide range of mental health issues.

A Place To Grow is a sustainable Community Garden with the purpose to support positive Mental Health and Wellbeing. This is achieved by encouraging people to learn new things by producing and eating healthy food, being physically active, getting involved in the community and meeting new people in a friendly, informal and safe environment.
The site is aimed at anyone who wants to improve their Mental Health and Wellbeing. You may have a long term health condition, learning disability, recently bereaved, feeling isolated and lonely or want to get more active.
What we offer
Open gardening sessions, 3 times a week
Community groups able to hire the space for meetings, activities, team building
Volunteering opportunities
Tai Chi in the garden
Art workshops
To access the project the following criteria must be met:
Work or live in Blaby District
Able to follow instructions
Able to use gardening tools safely
Respectful towards other site users
Able to communicate with other site users
Able to work without 1-2-1 supervision
