Children & Young People
Children and young people are naturally more active than adults. However, they’re expected to be active for over an hour a day according to Government guidelines so they need a range of activities to keep them moving. Children and young people can get involved in so much, organised sports and games, playing in the outdoors and in parks, riding bikes and scooters, dancing about or simply running around with friends. Often, younger children are reliant on their parents to be active, whether it’s to pay to go or transport them there so they need to be supportive and even better, get active with them! Below is an array of information and opportunities for children and young people to get involved and active and you can also find local activities by taking a look through our directory under the children’s tabs by clicking the button below.
