Denise Hudson
Resident Denise Hudson completed her 12 week referral for exercise at The Pavilion Leisure Centre in Huncote. She had been referred by her GP for support in getting active in order to improve her health. Following an initial consultation with an Exercise Referral Instructor, she was able to attend the gym during the referral scheme hours for a period of 12 weeks to work through her progressive exercise programme. Upon completing the 12 weeks, she noted a huge difference in her fitness and mental wellbeing. She had reduced her blood pressure to a healthy level, had lost 7kg in weight, and had lost an impressive 10cm from her waist measurement!
Having made the most of the support from the programme, Denise now felt confident to join the gym herself and continued training regularly even after the 12 weeks had finished.
